GD&T WEB Tutor
GD&T WEB Tutor is a Web-based Learning course for Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing. The course is based on the ASME Y14.5 standard, 2009 edition. Practices defined by the 2009 edition of the standard are included in the learning content.
 
The learning content is rich in animated explanations with crisp voice narrations in a simple language. The course content assumes no previous exposure to GD&T, and and all the learning is done ground-up. GD&T WEB Tutor makes learning the involved technology of GD&T comfortable anxiety-free experience.   1. Is the course taught personally by a tutor?
    No, the course is a automated multimedia program with a voice over. All concepts are explained in a lucid and easy-to-understand manner.
     
  2. What is the duration of the course?
    The course is a 20-hour learning content. There are 5 Workouts is quiz format. Once you register, you get a login (your email ID is your login) and a password. The login is good for 15 consecutive calendar days. You may login for as long a duration as you wish during these 15 days.
     
  3. What is the cost of one person taking the course?
    The cost of registration for one person is USD 80. This needs to be paid as registration fees at the commencement of the course. For paying registration fees in currencies other than US Dollars, please send us an enquiry here. Indian learners please click here for more information.
     
  4. What do I get at the end of the course?
    On commencement of the course we email you the GD&T Ready Reckoner that serves as companion material to the GD&T Web Tutor. This is in the PDF format. You may print this out and keep for reference in the future. This reference material is meant for the use by learners registered for GD&T Web Tutor only. Circulating of this material among others is not permitted and may lead to a breach of copyright.

    At the end of the course we send you a Learning Sessions Summary that gives you details of your progress through the course, Work-out scoresheet that shows your scores for the five workouts you take in the course, and a Course Certificate.   5. Can the workout quizzes be taken more than once by registered learner?
    One registered learner can take each quiz only once.
     
  6. Can one registration be shared by multiple learners?
    One registration is meant to be used by the registered user only. Sharing, selling, leasing a single login to a group is not permitted. Learning activity log for each user is maintained by our server. Any activity on a single login beyond reasonable limits will be immediately highlighted. One login can be used from a single computer concurrently.
     
  7. Can I use a single registration for training my personnel in a classroom environment?
    A single registration is meant to be used by an individual learner. If you wish to use GD&T Web Tutor in a classroom environment, please enquire with us with details of training you wish to conduct. Alternatively you may purchase a GD&T Wiz Tutor license. GD&T Wiz Tutor software can be installed on your computer, and is identical in learning content to GD&T Web Tutor. GD&T Wiz Tutor is available as a perpetual license that can be used any number of times.
